I can tell you that supporting Ukraine has informed my politics for years. I admire the tenacity of Ukrainians and have worked with many refugees where I live. You capture their admirable and resilient spirit perfectly.
I tend to ignore most of what’s writ by western pundits, for two reasons:
1. Their pessimistic warnings are meant to rally the normies into positive action. I don’t need the fear nor the prod, I’m already 100% activated for Ukraine.
2. Their pessimism is meant to subjugate us into acceptance of evil hegemony. I reject that out of hand and fight even harder.
I fight for Ukraine as I would for myself. I am you. You are me. We are one.
I needed the strength and vision you shared. I laughed at the sunflower comment.My granddaughter was Dnipro when the invasion started. All of you are dear to our hearts.

The US and Ukraine must be strong together as we hold on to our freedoms and democracy.
I agree, but so far, the response from the U.S. government has been very weak compared to the response and generosity of many ordinary Americans.
We as individuals care deeply about the plight of Ukrainians.
